Michael Anderson is a Level 2 Judge from Florence, Kentucky. His nominations during Wave 4 focused on his determination and success in being more active at events. Here is what Judges had to say about Michael’s efforts:
“Thanks for your excellent work scorekeeping the Standard Ohio States for us here in Columbus. You did an excellent job managing the front of the room during a very hectic two days of scorekeeping and we had very few (if any) issues from WER across the event and those we did were handled swiftly by you. Keep up the great work!”
“Mike, I am really impressed at how you are taking on new challenges like when you requested to lead sides at a SCG Open. You’ve taken them head on and learned from them and taken the time to share the information with others. You used this experience to write a tournament report to help others learn. This is a credit to your commitment to your development as well as your commitment to helping others improve. Keep up the good work!”
Here’s what Tommy Fritz, a Kentucky Area Captain, had to say:
I can attest to this sentiment, as I was a player in his first PPTQ at Through the Decades in Louisville, KY. The event had a whopping 50+ turnout, and part of my attendance was ‘just in case’. It turned out that the case was well taken care of, as I got to witness him first hand teaching a group of new judges at the store while running the event. Mike clearly has a penchant for taking on new challenges.
