Ερώτηση
Γιατί είναι ο Shaman of forgotten ways legal στο commander ενώ το Biorhythm είναι banned; Πως αλληλεπιδρά το ability αυτό με το phasing;
Απάντηση
Επειδή η κάρτα Biorhythm είναι banned στο commander, δε συνεπάγεται ότι και κάποια κάρτα που μπορεί να δημιουργήσει το ίδιο ability είναι banned εκτός αν υπάρχει στην σχετική banlist
Το phasing λειτουργεί ως εξής: στο Untap step πριν κάνουμε untap τα permanent μας, ταυτόχρονα όλα τα phased-out permanents κάνουν phase-in και όλα τα τα phased-in permanents που έχουν phasing κάνουν phase-out. Τα phased-out permanents θεωρούνται ότι δεν υπάρχουν στο battledfield μέχρι να κάνουν phase-in συνεπώς αν κάποιος έχει μόνο ένα creature και αυτό είναι phased-out όταν κάνει resolve το Biorhythm effect τότε το lifetotal του θα γίνει 0.
702.25a Phasing is a static ability that modifies the rules of the untap step. During each player’s untap step, before the active player untaps his or her permanents, all phased-in permanents with phasing that player controls “phase out.” Simultaneously, all phased-out permanents that had phased out under that player’s control “phase in.”
702.25b If a permanent phases out, its status changes to “phased out.” Except for rules and effects that specifically mention phased-out permanents, a phased-out permanent is treated as though it does not exist. It can’t affect or be affected by anything else in the game. A permanent that phases out is removed from combat. (See rule 506.4.) Example: You control three creatures, one of which is phased out. You cast a spell that says “Draw a card for each creature you control.” You draw two cards. Example: You control a phased-out creature. You cast a spell that says “Destroy all creatures.” The phased-out creature is not destroyed.

Μπορεί να γίνει κάπως counter το cascade ability των spell και αν ναι πώς;
Απάντηση
Το cascade είναι ένα triggered ability το οποίο λαμβάνει χώρα την ώρα που το spell με το cascade βρίσκεται στο 
stack συνεπώς γίνεται counter με κάποιος spell ή ability που μας επιτρέπει να κάνουμε counter triggered abilities(Stifle) ή αν κάνουμε remove to ability από το stack(Summary Dismissal). Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι αν κάνουμε counter το spell που είχε το cascade το cascade θα γίνει κανονικά.
702.84. Cascade 702.84a Cascade is a triggered ability that functions only while the spell with cascade is on the stack. “Cascade” means “When you cast this spell, exile cards from the top of your library until you exile a nonland card whose converted mana cost is less than this spell’s converted mana cost. You may cast that card without paying its mana cost. Then put all cards exiled this way that weren’t cast on the bottom of your library in a random order.” 702.84b If a spell has multiple instances of cascade, each triggers separately.

Έχω στο πεδίο μου food chain και θυσιάζω ένα τέρας με cmc 3 θα μου δώσει τέσσερα μάνα ενός χρώματος ή μπορεί να μου δώσει και διαφορετικά αν θέλω;
Απάντηση
Το food chain λέει Add X mana of any one color to your mana pool, συνεπώς θα δώσει 4 mana ενός χρώματος και δε μπορεί να δώσει συνδυασμό διαφορετικών χρωμάτων.

Έχω ένα aether vial στα 3 charge counters και Flickerwisp στο χέρι μου.
Βρισκόμαστε στον γύρο του αντίπαλου
1ον
Έχω Blade splicer κάτω, ποτέ είναι η κατάλληλη στιγμή για να παίξω το flickerwisp με 
target το blade splicer ώστε να μπει στο δικό του γύρο;
2ον
Ο αντίπαλος έχει κάτω Blood Moon πότε είναι η κατάλληλη στιγμή να παίξω το flickerwisp με target το blood moon ώστε να μπει στο δικό μου end step;
Απάντηση
Και για τα 2 σενάρια είναι σημαντικό να κοιτάξουμε το timing του flickerwisp, δηλαδή το πότε επιστρέφει την κάρτα στο πεδίο, αυτό είναι το beginng of the next end step. Συνεπώς στο 1ο σενάριο η τελευταία στιγμή που μπορούμε να το κάνουμε είναι όταν αντίπαλος μας δώσει priority στο post-combat main phase και έτσι θα μπει στο επόμενο end step που είναι αμέσως μετά. Για το 2ο σενάριο πρέπει να γίνει αφού περάσει το end step έτσι ώστε να μπει στο beginng of the next end step το οποίο θα είναι το end step του γύρου μας.
Ερώτηση
Ο αντίπαλος έχει στο πεδίο του Geist of Saint Traft και κάνει cast lightning bolt σε εμένα, μπορώ να κάνω ricochet trap και να αλλάζω το target στον Geist of Saint Traft;
Απάντηση
Ναι γίνεται διότι το ricochet trap κάνει target to Lightning bolt και όχι τον Geist of Saint Traft και αλλάζει το target του Lightning Bolt, που είναι spell του αντιπάλου και δεν εμποδίζεται από το hexproof.
Ricochet Trap targets only the spell whose target will be changed. It doesn’t directly affect the original target of that spell or the new target of that spell.
Ερώτηση
Γιατί τέρας που παίρνω με confiscation coup δεν μπορεί να επιτεθεί;
Απάντηση
Το creature δε μπορεί να επιτεθεί καθώς έχει summoning sickness και θα μπορούσε να επιτεθεί μόνο αν βρισκόταν υπό την κατοχή μας από την αρχή του γύρου μας.
302.6. A creature’s activated ability with the tap symbol or the untap symbol in its activation cost can’t be activated unless the creature has been under its controller’s control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. A creature can’t attack unless it has been under its controller’s control continuously since his or her most recent turn began. This rule is informally called the “summoning sickness” rule.
Ερώτηση
Αν ο the scarab god χάσει τα abilities του και πεθάνει γυρνάει χέρι;
Απάντηση
Όχι διότι το ability του the Scarab God είναι leaves-the battlefield ability και συνεπώς χρησιμοποιεί την πληροφορία του πως ήταν ο the scarab god πριν φύγει από το battlefield, και αφού δεν είχε abilities το ability του δεν γίνεται trigger ποτέ.
Ερώτηση
Έχω στο πεδίο μου Utvara Hellkite επιτίθεμαι με 5 δράκους θα βάλω 5 δράκους με τη μια ή έναν έναν;
Απάντηση
Το ability του Utvara Hellkite λέει ότι όταν ένας δράκος επιτίθεται δημιούργησε ένα δράκο token, συνεπώς μπαίνουν 5 trigger στο stack, το καθένα από τα οποία δημιουργεί ένα δράκο.
Ερώτηση
Έχω στο χέρι μου 2 infernal tutor και αρκετά ανοικτά mana. Μπορώ να παίξω τον 1ο tutor κάνοντας reveal τον 2ο, να ψάξω το library αλλά επιλέγοντας τελικά να μην φέρω άλλο copy του από το library στο χέρι μου και να μείνω μόνο με τον 2ο infernal tutor ως τη μοναδική πλέον κάρτα στο χέρι μου;
Απάντηση
Ναι, όποτε ψάχνουμε το library για μια συγκεκριμένη κάρτα μπορούμε να αποτύχουμε να βρούμε συνεπώς δε χρειάζεται να βρούμε τη συγκεκριμένη κάρτα. Αν όμως η κάρτα μας επιτρέπει να ψάξουμε για μια οποιαδήποτε κάρτα τότε πρέπει να βρούμε μια εκτός και αν το library μας είναι άδειο.
701.17a To search for a card in a zone, look at all cards in that zone (even if it’s a hidden zone) and find a card that matches the given description.
701.17b If a player is searching a hidden zone for cards with a stated quality, such as a card with a certain card type or color, that player isn’t required to find some or all of those cards even if they’re present in that zone.
701.17c If a player is instructed to search a hidden zone for cards that match an undefined quality, that player may still search that zone but can’t find any cards.
701.17d If a player is searching a hidden zone simply for a quantity of cards, such as “a card” or “three cards,” that player must find that many cards (or as many as possible, if the zone doesn’t contain enough cards).

Έχω παίξει Clone που έγινε the Scarab god και πεθαίνει τέλος γύρου τον παίρνω χέρι?. Αν στον ίδιο Clone κάνω Reanimate και στον ίδιο γύρο πεθάνει θα τον πάρω χέρι;
Απάντηση
Στο πρώτο σενάριο ναι καθώς ο Clone έφυγε από το πεδίο ως scarab god και δεν έχει σημασία που πλέον στο νεκροταφείο δεν είναι the Scarab god καθώς το ability είχε γίνει trigger καθώς πέθαινε. Στο δεύτερο σενάριο ο Clone αποτελεί καινούριο object και δεν έχει γνώση της προηγούμενης ζωής του που ήταν the Scarab God, δηλαδή στο τέλος του γύρου το ability ψάχνει να βρει τον Clone αλλά επειδή αποτελεί καινούριο object δεν τον βρίσκει και δε γυρνάει χέρι.
Ερώτηση
Αν κάνω exile ένα token με τον Venser, the Sojourner, θα επιστρέψει το token στο τέλος του γύρου ή όχι;
Απάντηση
Όχι γιατί το token θα γίνει exile και με το που το παιχνίδι δει ότι το token δεν είναι πλέον στο battlefield, θα πάψει να υπάρχει
110.5f A token that’s in a zone other than the battlefield ceases to exist. This is a state-based action; see rule 704. (Note that if a token changes zones, applicable triggered abilities will trigger before the token ceases to exist.) 110.5g A token that has left the battlefield
