Pages and Posts are the two primary types of content for your site.
Posts are generally ordered chronologically, and are generally used for updates. If you make a daily, weekly, monthly, or just occasional update to your site, a Post is probably the thing to use. They can be put into categories for classification, and support Tags (keywords) to tie related posts together. To create a Post, find the Posts menu on the left side of the dashboard and select “Add New.”
Pages are generally more static and timeless than a Post. They are useful for topics such as About, or Contact Us style pages. They support a hierarchy (parent pages can have a bunch of child pages), but cannot be categorized or tagged. To create a Page, find the Pages menu on the left side of the dashboard and select “Add New.”
