Uri Hershkovitz L2, Israel

Uri Hershkovitz L2, Israel

Uri started playing MTG at the end of Scourge block, and became a judge in April 2016. He is very active in the Israeli community and would like to extend his work in the region. Apart from magic, he is finishing first degree in education and political science, and getting used to married life 🙂

Uri received 4 nominations in Wave 7, let’s have a look at them.

Paul Baranay  had this to say about Uri:

[cets_callout_box style=’gray’ align=’full’ title=”] Uri, thank you for taking the initiative to invigorate the Player Surveys project. There was no expectation for you to try to organize Skype gatherings, which makes your doing so all the more impressive. I am confident that your passion and enthusiasm will be an asset to whatever you attempt in the future.[/cets_callout_box]   David Lyford-Smith  had this to say about Uri:

[cets_callout_box style=’gray’ align=’full’ title=”] Uri, I wanted to thank you for your persistence with reminding me when I had promised to do something for you. It’s easy for me to fall behind on things and you were professional but persistent in making sure we got around to doing something important that had been put to one side. Thanks for being my conscience 🙂    [/cets_callout_box] David Shor had this to say about Uri:

[cets_callout_box style=’gray’ align=’full’ title=”] You have been super helpful in the community, both the judge community and the player’s community, you have both grown and supported the player’s community , and have helped me(and the whole judge community) by doing great job at the translation project, truly, well done! You have shown your potential and realized some of it, but I await more great things from you, keep on with your great work! 😀 [/cets_callout_box] Yuval Tzur had this to say about Uri:

[cets_callout_box style=’gray’ align=’full’ title=”] Uri, even though you weren’t recognized as one of the organizers for the Israeli judge convention, you worked a lot for it to happen. You discussed it with our country coordinator several times, you offered us a room in a venue you used for a convention you organized and you provided us with all the necessary equipment to present (laptop, projector, screen). While this is not an “official” credit, I wanted you to know that I know how much you care, and that I appreciate it. A lot. [/cets_callout_box]

Getting recognized for your work from 3 different continents is impressive and astonishing in the same time, we are glad to have you in our region!
