The Northeast Region needs a new leader and a guide.
John Alderfer has successfully demonstrated to be able to take Shawn’s place and he has been offered the Regional Coordinator position for the region, which he accepted. He will lead his community and help the Regional Coordinators group to make the Judge Program better and better.
This is what Shawn had to say:
After 4 1/2 years of holding this position, I decided that it was time for a change, for me and for the region. In the last few months, there was a process of finding a replacement and John was the selection. I know that the region will be in good hands, not just with John as RC, but with all the other leaders that have help this region grow and succeed.
When I started as RC, the region had about 130 judges. The region recently passed 430 judges. I am excited to see the region continue to grow. I will still be around and active in the region. I will still be happy to hear from judges in the region and help them how ever I can, so feel free to let me know.
Thank you Shawn for what you have done for everybody. Congratulations John, and good luck!
