JudgeApps experienced an outage today from approximately 06:02 to 11:07 (UTC). The cause of the issue was a race condition in our HTTP server, gunicorn, which necessitated a server restart. Although restarting the server is quite easy, the issue happened to occur when all of our maintainers were unavailable, leading to the prolonged outage.

Please accept our apologies for the inconvenience. Although this error is rare, we are looking into upgrading gunicorn to prevent this problem from recurring. In addition, we are exploring options for improving our response time to this sort of issue.
