Features and New Additions

 

 

• We’ve made it easier for admins to update the Exemplar CSVs to help avoid the empty-Wave-9 bug mentioned in June 1-15 updates.
• Pauper is now an event format we recognize in JudgeApps!

 

Performance Updates

• Enabled caching on the templates to reduce disk usage. 10-15% performance improvement in our development environment!

 

Bug Fixes and Backend

• Some notifications were combined when they shouldn’t have been. For example, people were receiving notifications for event postings with a link to a comment on a review.  We straightened those notifications out so links are better representative of the notification they are for.
• We upgraded to Django 1.10.  A lot of little things happened to make this happen without breaking everything.
• Review terminology got a small facelift:
  • Reviews now use ‘areas for improvement’ instead of ‘weaknesses’.
  • “Not rating” is now “no rating”.
• Mobile website dates were wrapping in an inconvenient way; they no longer overlap with other information.
