Event Notification Settings

Event Notifications are the best way to keep up to date with upcoming events. You can easily set your preferences to notify you (either on-site or email) when new events in your region are created. Configuration options include what type of event it is, what region it’s in, or both! For example, the screenshot below would notify you whenever a Grand Prix event is created anywhere, whenever any event is created in Brazil, and whenever a Judge Conference is created in Australia / New Zealand.

he sample settings shown would notify you whenever a Grand Prix is created in any region, whenever any event is created in Brazil, and whenever a Judge Conference is created in Australia or New Zealand.

To receive notifications for events, check the boxes corresponding to the event types and regions you’re interested in.

For each region, check each event type that you’re interested in. For example, you can check the Grand Prix column for all the regions you’re willing to travel to, while checking many more event types for the region you live in.

If you want to be notified of ALL events of a given type, regardless of where they’re located, check the appropriate event type’s box in the All Regions column.

The type of notification you receive (on-site, email, or both) is determined by the ‘New Event Created’ setting in your Email Notification Settings.

As with any Settings page, be sure to click Save when you’re done!

Remember: JudgeApps Events are for soliciting judge staff for events – NOT for advertising your events.  Judges or organizers creating events solely for advertising them will have their event creation privileges revoked.
