The Winter 2018 Exemplar Wave (Wave #12) is live.
The Wave 12 review is complete and the nominations are posted on Judgeapps! You can see nominations you gave and received here or use the search tool to see all the awesome things your fellow judges are doing; at home, at events, online, or in their community.
If you received a nomination, you will receive an email with instructions for the next step within two days. (spoilers: It will be a link to a Google form that looks a lot like last time)
Additionally, if you discover you cannot find a nomination that you wrote, that means it was deferred. We will be providing a personalized email explaining why the nomination was deferred. These emails will be sent in batches over the next two weeks. Your deferred slot will appear in Judgeapps for Wave 13 nearly immediately.
One final thing, this Wave is the first wave with some significant changes. As with any sizable change, there will be some things we don’t get right on the first try. Exemplar has a lot of moving parts, and the changes announced last wave add even more. Constructive feedback allows us to iterate and improve, so if you have any feedback please send it to exemplarprogram@gmail.com
As a glimpse ahead into the next few blog posts, we will have:
- A post from Rob McKenzie where he will reveal this Wave’s Token art, as well as provide some information on how they were made.
- A ‘lessons learned’ post on the results of Wave 12
- The announcement of Wave 13’s Vanguard selection.
- A post highlighting some of our favorite nominations from this wave.
As a reminder, Wave 13 is currently open and ends May 14th at 23:59 PST
Till next time.
P.S. – a teaser for the tokens that will be mailed to all judges this wave, which Rob will be spoiling in full in his article:
