We're making a major change to how users get JudgeApps accounts. User accounts no longer require approval from an L2+ judge prior to use, but rather, they can be used as soon as the user verifies their email address. To protect our users' privacy, we've added additional restrictions to uncertified user accounts. MagicJudges.org network maintenance August 24th
We are scheduling a maintenance window for the MagicJudges.org network of sites for Friday, August 24th, 2018, at 10AM Eastern. This is the final stage of migrating the servers to updated software baselines and current hardware infrastructure. We expect this maintenance to last no more than three hours. JudgeApps Event Forum and Policy Updates
Grand Prix attendees should be aware of a new subforum specifically for travel planning and social events, there are some formal guidelines over what may be a JudgeApps "Event", and all users should take a moment to check their notification settings to make sure they find out about events that they're interested in!

Introducing a New Account Approval Process
Whenever a user makes an account on JudgeApps, we verify the information they provided, to prevent against abuse, spam, and to ensure that their account information is correct.
