Reverberate is a card you’re likely to see in a lot of Epic Experiment builds, but it’s important to know what you can and cannot do with it. Because Epic Experiment has you cast the spells in whatever order you choose, you’re free to cast a non-Reverberate spell first, so that your Reverberate can target it. So if you found a Thunderous Wrath or a Battle Hymn, you could cast it first and follow up with Reverberate to double up your fun. However, while it’s a legal play to have Reverberate be cast targeting Epic Experiment, that play is also not very good. You can target the Experiment because it’s still on the stack and still resolving at the time you’re allowed to cast Reverberate; however, when Reverberate goes to resolve, the Experiment has long since ended, and Reverberate will be countered due to lack of legal targets. Yet another nonbo that falls under the category of “Legal, but useless”.
