Whenever a card enters the battlefield as a copy of another object in play; for example Clone, or an effect puts a copy of a card into play; for example Mirrorworks, these permanents are entering the battlefield and will trigger relevant abilities. For example, if a Clone enters the battlefield as a copy of Viridian Corrupter it’s triggered ability will trigger and the controller of this Clone / Corrupter will be able to choose and destroy an artifact in play. This is also true if a Mirrorworks puts a token copy of a Viridian Corrupter in play.
Keep in mind that this is not the case when permanents that are already in play become a copy of another object. For example, Cryptoplasm‘s ability allows it to become a copy of creature in play at the beginning of each of its controller’s upkeep steps. As the Cryptoplasm is not entering the battlefield, those types of triggered abilities will not trigger.
