Rhox Faithmender seems like a good way to do that. Unlike that ʺBOGOʺ sign you see in a shopping mall, Magic rules strive to be highly intuitive. When you cast Angel’s Mercy with one Rhox Faithmender on the battlefield, you gain twice as much–you gain 14! That’s pretty clear, right? What about if I have TWO copies of Rhox Faithmender on the battlefield? What happens here is that there are two replacement effects that want to modify the same event, and they ʺplay nicelyʺ together. The first one sees your Angel’s Mercy and replaces its effect (Gain 7 Life) with doubling it (Gain 14 Life). Then, since the effect has not resolved yet, the second Faithmender sees he is sitll relevant and again doubles the event (Gain 14 Life) into Gain 28 Life.
Four Mana, gain 28 life? Now THAT sounds like a good deal! (add a third Faithmender for 56 life, or a fourth for 112!)
