When a creature with 0 power attacks and is blocked, or blocks, or gets into a fight, the game translates “would deal 0 damage” as “won’t deal damage at all.” Because no damage is dealt, abilities like deathtouch that modify the results of damage have no effect, and your end result is a very sad (and probably very dead) Bird.
