Now, if you look to your right, you’ll see how a fierce Hydra can become a mere kitty when traveling through the possibility storm. Isn’t it adorable, though?
Oh! Look to your left! There’s one of the Theran gods, Heliod, trying to bestow the gift of his Emissary onto his champion. But here in the Possibility Storm, even the gifts of the gods can go awry.
Now, class, who can tell me what type of card Heliod’s Emissary will turn into within the Storm, if the Emissary has been bestowed?
No, Timmy, but good try. You will not get to choose whether you get to cast a creature or enchantment. A bestowed spell is always just an Enchantment – Aura on the stack.
What’s that, Melvin? Yes, you are correct! You will reveal cards from your library until you reveal an enchantment card. This is because Possibility Storm cares about the type of card that was exiled from the stack, not what the card looks like in exile. And when it was on the stack, the bestowed spell was just an enchantment.
So you’ll flip cards until you find an enchantment. This could be an Aura or a regular old enchantment… or even have types other than enchantment! However, don’t forget that you won’t be able to use the bestow ability of any enchantment creature you reveal from the Storm.
All right, I think that’s all we have time for today! Time to go back to the academy. Wave to the nice gods!
