Most matches of tournament Magic are played until a player wins two games. The winner is often referred to as having won ‘two out of three.’ However this does not mean that there can only be three games in a match. While not very common, it is possible for individual games of Magic to end in a draw. These games are kept track of and reported, but they do not contribute to a player winning a match. In instances like these, players will play additional games until a single player has won two games.
