If you control two Sublime Archangels, each has 2 Exalted abilities that can trigger.

There are many abilities where it makes no sense to have them more than once, because it’s just redundant. These include lifelink, trample, deathtouch, infect, first/double strike, among many others.

However, with triggered abilities, each one is independent and can trigger separately, so it can actually be helpful to have multiple copies of that ability. These include flanking, provoke, bushido, and more recently, exalted!

So you can “stack” exalted abilities by having two Sublime Archangels. Each one gives all your other creatures one (additional) exalted ability (meaning each Angel will have “Exalted, Exalted”). If any one creature you control attacks alone, every single exalted ability you control will trigger, even if a single creature has 2 or 3 copies of the ability. In the case of only 2 Sublime Archangels, attacking with one will trigger 4 exalted abilities for a net result of +4/+4. Now add one other creature that has exalted normally (e.g., Knight of Glory would have “Exalted, Exalted, Exalted”), and that’s 3 more exalted triggers for a total of +7/+7!
