Outpost Siege allows you to play the exiled card, much like Chandra, Pyromaster’s second ability, for any of its costs (additional or alternative). This means dash, morph, kicker, etc. — All are acceptable. If you hadn’t already realized this, it should open a whole new world of possibilities when playing with Outpost Siege. Exiling a morph creature means you only need to pay 3 colorless to get it on the field; granted, the opponent will know what the card is, but it is still value. Keep in mind that the cards you exile still have to be played when they could normally be played: You still have to pay all their costs appropriately, and you can use it to play a land, but can’t use it to play an extra land in a turn. Now that you know, go Siege-Dashing at your next FNM and see how much fun it is!
Bonus: Should you choose Dragons for Outpost Siege, and your non-creature-card manifest leaves the battlefield, you still get to deal the damage.
