Myr Battlesphere‘s triggered ability that both gives it +x/+0 and deals X damage to the defending player triggers when the Battlesphere attacks. This ability will go on the stack after all attacking creatures have been declared. Because most creatures tap when they attack, you cannot both attack with a Myr and tap it to ‘boost’ the Battlesphere’s ability unless this Myr has Vigilance.
